Conor O’Shea Hopeful Of His Team Doing A Lot Better In The Coming Matches

In the Northampton Saints versus Harlequins match which took place on 27th February, Friday at Franklins Gardens the former emerged as the victor.

Saints managed to win 17-13. After the match, the 48 years old Jim Mallinder who is the coach of Northampton Saints, has said that for his team it was indeed very hard to win because Harlequins is a tough team to play against.

Mallinder is of the opinion that the opponent team has indeed played very well. He said that the Saints failed to increase their tempo on account of the opponent team’s attack on their line out. Mallinder also said that his team’s defence aspect was very well in the game. By doing mauls they team could get tries that were good. Mallinder said that it is good for his team to secure its place at the top of the league table at the very start of a season but he also said that his team is not getting any extra benefit for being there.
