Wasps Gather Player Accolades

The players of Wasps are dominating the scene this year.


Most players have done well are proving it difficult for players of other teams get nominated for the player awards that are doled out end of the season. Billy Vunipola and Maro Itoje were looking forward to be part of the player awards, but it seems that Wasps have dominated most player awards this season.

There have been legendary performances by the Wasps players this season. That included Nathan Hughes, Charles Piute, and George Smith among others. They have all received nominations along with other team players like Andy Goode, who plays fly half of Newcastle and Thomas Waldrom of Exeter team. Waldrom remains the top scorer for the Premiership till date. He won the RPA award for the year 2011. Goode and his coming into the scene from retirement have helped Newcastle to not be relegated this season. Read more
